At Mind and Body we give importance to the balance between taking care of your body, and taking care of your mind. The practice of fitness, in any form, can help dial back both physical and mental problems.
A regular yoga practice, a walk, or a fitness class appears to correlate with increased wellbeing, including better sleep, better body awareness, weight loss, and most importantly; greater happiness.
By improving mindfulness, it simultaneously helps to boost compassion, gratitude, and “flow” states, all of which contribute to happiness.
Taking responsibility for our own states of mind – and changing them for the better.
Meditation is a means of transforming the mind.
Encouraging and developing concentration, clarity, emotional positivity. By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being.

To put it simply, physical activity and exercise is important for everyone. Children, adolescents, and adults of all ages need regular physical activity. Physical activity promotes good health, makes us happy, the list of benefits is seemingly never-ending. It can give you energy, relieve stress, and help regulate your sleep. It is proven!
Elements of fitness that come across all of our classes are: Endurance, Aerobic, Strength Resistance, Balance, Flexibility
We have a variety of fitness classes, 1-1 and group sessions.

Seeing noticeable improvements can improve your self-esteem and a sense of purpose, both of which can help improve your feeling of wellbeing.

Self-awareness and Expression: Creativity is the route to authenticity. As we create we begin to access our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. By developing our own ideas, we learn to understand, trust and respect our inner self, in turn enabling us to better express ourselves.
